Ashley Jacobson

Ashley has over a decade of experience in serving individuals as they age and acquire disability. She earned her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University, where she studied special education, psychology, and political science. She later received her master’s degree from Michigan State University and became nationally certified in rehabilitation counseling—a field devoted to assessing and planning for the long-term independence, living, and vocational needs of adults with disabilities.

Most recently, she acquired her J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she gained experience in the Sixty Plus & Estate Planning Clinic. Her experience in this clinic piqued her interest in elder law as a natural extension of her counseling background. In her free time, Ashley is an active disability advocate, Philadelphia Eagles fan, and dog mom to her golden retriever Thor.
